Concerned
Haven't been posting much recently. Health issues. Had bloods taken on Monday, received results yesterday, apart from HbA1c. My blood count is down. The last time this occurred, a few years back, I was prescribed ferrous fumerate, which got my blood count up above 140, which was good.
I received a call this morning from a clinician at my medical centre. She voiced concern over some of my results. She agreed with me about the blood count. However, she also had my HbA1c result (which I haven't received) and it had doubled since August 2023. Alarming. She is going to visit on 5th July to take more blood to rerun some of these tests with the addition of ferritin.
On top of this I have the vet coming on 3rd July with the objective of harvesting blood from Riley to run his T4 level again. He has been on twice daily Thyronorm since last September.
It's difficult not to worry...
