Bad news first...JC crushes any lingering hope of an NSync reunion, and apparently there were a lot of lingering hopes, because a lot of people had to write about it...here. And here. And here. And here.

Okay, I have a lot to say about this, where do I start?

First of all, those links you posted to people tearing their NSYNC nightshirts and wailing in the streets? The very last one has the most BEAUTIFUL pic of them I've seen in a while. JC's shirt is sheer. He's all up on Lance without being UP on Lance. And Chris and Justin? Yeah, TELL me there's nothing happening there.

But I digress.

Hey, JC. Remember when I didn't even notice you, because you looked like Julius Caesar, and then you looked like the boy next door? No matter how talented you were, you were "one of the brunettes whose name I can't remember?" Remember how suddenly you filmed the video for "Pop," and got all fucking hot and spacey and had on drawstring pants and started prancing around like a sex kitten, and I finally realized you were hot?

Yeah. I don't want you anymore. I realize you're all adults and everything, and you're allowed to tell the truth, but really? NEVER? You can't just let the idea out there, flickering like a dying candle? No. You need to grab a freaking BUCKET and cut the oxygen off like a fire extinguisher. Maybe you think you're doing us all a favor or something, being honest. Maybe you just get tired of people asking that. I remember how snarky you got a few months ago when Lance actually *gasped* said it could maybepossiblybutnotreally happen.

I have never truly thought that you would reunite, unless it was someone's birthday, or an anniversary of MTV or something. Justin's wings have taken him too far to look back to something like this. And I honestly can't see Chris strapping on the kneepads and the Aleve IV to do the dances again.

Seriously though, excellent rant. It'll take a lot more than this for me to stop wanting JC, but that was still a supremely sucky thing for him to say.

That...pretty much sums it up. Honestly, I can sympathize with JC, he was probably at his wits end with people badgering him about a reunion (especially with NKOTBSB and everything), but I feel like this comment was...unprofessional, in some way? I don't know. It's really interesting, and kind of sad, to see the varying reactions each syncer has, from Lance being teasing and enthusiastic to this. :/

And I have to wonder if part of JC's frustration is really his own wish that they would reunite, at least for one show or something, but we all know who the holdout is. And that I really don't get, because judging just from these blogs there would be so much interest in a reunited Nsync. And it's not such a fat-fetched idea anymore, with all of the success NKOTBSB is having. Nsync could have another awesome run. Maybe in another five years the tune'll change...
