So one of the best things about my new ipod, apart from the fact that I'm now able to watch the latest episodes of SNL, The Office, etc, on the long commute to and from Joondalup every day, is iTunes Genius. Oh is that what the Genius does? It was just looking like something else I didn't have time to decipher but I can see it's got potential. But does it give you songs on your playlist that you didn't download? Or do you have so many songs in your library that you don't know what's in there?
Harry Nilsson! A Little Bit of Nilsson in the Night and Nilsson Schmilsson! Oh what a blast from the past! I love his music. *buzzes off to explore itunes*

Have you listened to "The Point"? I spent many an afternoon in my misspent youth listening to that and pondering....

Yes! I haven't seen the film though. Harry Nilsson is all kinds of awesome. If I have a son he will be named Harry.

In iTunes Genius also suggests songs you might like to buy, but on the ipod it's just among the songs you already have. It continues to amaze me. I was just listening to a Breeders song that came up on my itunes and thought, somewhat randomly (or at least I thought) "hmm it would be good to hear 'Chelsea Morning' right about now" and GUESS WHAT WAS THE NEXT SONG TO COME UP!

Hee hee misspent youth.

I think (!) I remember seeing the film and finding it lame. The imagination is often a better filmmaker don't you think?
