Lasers in the Jungle Somewhere

TCAF is this weekend.  I'll be there, sharing a table with Becky.  Our table will be on the second floor, but the map's kinda hard to read.  Admission is free!  Ha ha.  We're gonna try to make it over to Niagra Falls on our way back Monday, so that should be fun.

A coupld years ago, one of my friends called me a font whore because I criticized her use of Comic Sans.  I guess it's kind of true.  I do love fonts.  But come on, Comic Sans?  Anyway, this year I finally decided to break down and spend money on fonts.  (I actually had to buy one a couple years ago, but that was work related.)  It almost makes me want to change my font on Wasted Minds, because I'm kinda tired of Wildwords.  It's not a bad font, but everybody in the world uses it.  It doesn't help that I used it on the majority of the CPM books I worked on, as well as One Piece and Knights of the Zodiac.  Too bad I'm a stickler for consistency.  But anyway, here are my favorite fonts:

I actually think Wildwords (the first one) might be the best choice, although I doubt I'll use it on any of my other comics.  The rest are Los Vampiros, Jeff Campbell, and Jeff Campbell Sketchbook (all from ComicCraft), if anybody's wondering.  And just because I went to the trouble of relettering this page with every font I own, here's the rest!

Zap Raygun, Zud Juice, Mighty Zeo Caps, Indie Star, Mighty Zeo (all from Blambot) and Whiz Bang.  Zud Juice would probably be my 3rd choice for Wasted Minds (after Wildwords and Jeff Campbell), although I don't feel the need to use these fonts as much, since I didn't pay for them (except Zap Raygun, which I bought to use on Moon Child and Swan).

I hope I didn't completely bore eerybody with this post.  Ha ha.
