Comics are kicking my ass
This week totally blows. I'm going to Florida to visit my parents and go to Disney World on Tuesday, which means that I have to get my taxes done this week, which means that I have to organize my shit. I don't even want to think about how much I'm going to owe. Fortunately, the nice lady at H&R Block lets me exaggerate on my expenses. *koff* I'm also trying to finish lettering Baby and Me 9 before I go (it's not due till mid-May, but I'm trying to get ahead on my lettering work, since this summer's going to be a bitch work-wise). I pretty much only accepted the job because I thought I would be able to letter it in a week or two, but it usually takes me like three. And half of this volume is an action story with tons of speedlines, so instead of cleaning up 35-50 pages a day, I'm doing like 20-25.

Backgrounds are kicking my ass, too. I have a good day, where I get a lot of work done, followed by 3-4 days where I barely do anything. I blame the intenet. There's like nothing on it, but I always seem to waste several hours reading something (usually stupid). I didn't even update my comic today, because I only inked like 2 1/2 panels. But tonight I'm determined to finish this page, and tone the two pages that I posted half-finished. I'm hoping to get ahead on my pencils while I'm in Florida, too. Maybe even draw the title page for Part 16, which I still haven't done. So in the end, I'm really only taking a vacation from updating my webcomic. The rest of it is working in a different environment. Ha ha ha.

Oh yeah, Vasilis did a short story for Spiderman Family #2. It came out yesterday, and it was awesome! They also had this Spiderman J comic in the back, which is like manga Spiderman. They flipped the comic, but didn't retouch over the Japanese sound effects, so they're all backwards. Ha ha ha. I'm sure most people reading it don't even know, but come on. Backwards untranslated sound effects are worse than forwards untranslated sound effects.
