Challenge 22: Blue Jeans (Bruce/Clint)

Bruce notices it first when his jeans get a little harder to do up. Clint laughs and rubs his stomach and tells him he loves him, and Bruce forgets about it.
That evening, Elise falls asleep on his stomach, and when he tucks her into bed, she tells him his tummy is squishier her pillow before she wishes him good night.
"Clint, am I getting fat?" He asks as he wanders into the master bedroom. Clint looks up at him and frowns, then shakes his head.
"No, why?"
"My jeans don't fit."
"I probably shrunk them in the wash. Still can't get used to that new machine," Clint answers, and pats Bruce's side of the bed, waiting for his husband to climb in next to him. Bruce does, and Clint leans under the duvet to kiss his stomach until Bruce is writhing and laughing, pushing Clint's shoulders and trying to be quiet so as not to wake their daughter. "I think your tummy is pretty damn perfect."
"You're biased."
"You're beautiful." Clint appears from under the covers and lays on Bruce, looking up at him dolefully. "Bruce we're domestic now. No more fighting, no more Avengers. Real life. Family. You're a high school teacher. It's okay to get a little bigger, you're still perfect."
Bruce shakes his head and laughs. "And you're a soccer mom, and I don't see you getting any bigger."
"Then... Then maybe we get a dog," Clint says shyly, knowing its a sore subject - Bruce is a little anti-pets, but Clint is desperate for a dog, and Elise would love it. "Take it for walks together when you get home."
Bruce thinks about that, and Clint feels sick that he's started a fight. "Maybe one of those huskies. They're pretty cute. And we would have to walk it lots, too, which would be even better."
"Really?" Bruce nods and smiles, and Clint leans up to kiss him. "Love you."
"Love you, too."
