(no subject)
We got flooded today after a massive downpour last night. I couldn't get out of my house. I had to go out the back way because our front and side garden were completely flooded. It was bad. All the roads leading out of Cleeve were flooded and blocked off so people couldn't get out or get in. I didn't think school would be on, but my school are assholes and kept us in. Allow me to explain what the school was like;

Leaking ceilings across the whole school
No power in some areas of the school - No heating as well
Half the pupils couldn't make it in because of bus routes being blocked
Half the teachers couldn't make it in because of localised flooding
Food deliveries couldn't get through so there was little food in the canteen
Yet they still kept us in school? It took a lot of my friends who didn't live in the area at least an hour to get into school. The cars on the roads weren't moving at all when I was walking to school. Fucking ridiculous. For anyone who cares to see the extent of the flooding look here and in the cut.
It doesn't look all that bad, but it was bad enough. Those images are just in my area. they were worse in town and the surrounding areas where my friends live.
I'm sick of the rain...it's raining again now ¬_¬
However, the good news is that...MY PC IS OKAY! They didn't have to reformat it! I am so relieved. I'm gonna back up all my sims downloads when I get it back tomorrow and move all my images over to the new hard drive. I don't want to risk losing anything again
