Judging by the dates on my music files and pictures, it was roughly a year ago today that i started listening to Gazette. I'm impressed, and quite proud of myself that i've stuck with them for a year now. That's the sign of a good band right there. One that can keep me interested for at least a year. I usually listen to a band obsessively for a few weeks or maybe a couple of months, then find something better, so i think i've found a band i can stick with here XD Much love to the only band who can make me smile, no matter what mood i'm in.
So that means that i've been into Jrock for roughly a year and a half. Thank you Miyavi =D Heres to many more years of Jrock goodness =P
Speaking of Jrock, i've been listening to Mirror a lot more for the past couple of weeks (mainly because it wakes me up every morning) and it's grown on me. Theres only one song that i really hate, some are mediocre, and some are awesome. Still, it's never going to be a [Coll:Set]
I also downloaded Linkin Parks new album last night because it leaked. And it saddens me to say this but, it's one of the worst albums i've ever heard. People call them emo and stuff, and personally, i never found them emo before, but this album confirms that they are emo and does two things; bores me into a coma, and makes me want to throw myself off a cliff. The band i've had an interest in for the past 6 years has gone down the shitter. They wrote 150 songs for this album, and picked the 12 best ones. These are the best? Dear God, i dread to think what the others sounded like. 3-4 years of waiting, and we get this? I'm highly disappointed.
Well, i said my net wasn't working the other day, and it still isn't working all that well now. Me and my Mum have spent the past two days fixing, breaking, and fixing the computer again and again in order to make it work
PCworld didn't install the software for our wireless card with the upgrades, so God knows how it's been working up until now. So my Mum installed some weird thing for it, and i downloaded the latest drivers for it and put them on the computer. This is when the PC broke DX There was a clash with the two things we installed, and it screwed up something in system 32. It turned windows into the classic style, i.e no log on screen. Then i uninstalled the thing my Mum had installed because that wasn't doing anything. And THEN the computer broke. It wouldn't retsart, telling me a .dll file was missing and it couldn't load any form of log on screen. Thank God for system restore! We restored it to Thursday, and just installed the drivers and the PC came back to life. What a relief that was. But the net still isn't working properly.
For some reason, our router is bouncing the wireless signall all over the place, and my computer can only pick it up when it's outside the workstation and pointed at some ridiculous angle because it's so weak Why is it doing this now?! My laptop picks it up fine anywhere in the house, and the computer picked it up fine before, but now it's just being a pain ¬_¬
