i feel like i'm melting onto the floor
i can get used to days like today... lazy days where no one wants to do anything and it's so damn hot outside you really feel like you're melting.. i like body odor.. not the offensive kind, but the kind where you know any ovulating girl or (hopefully) sexy thin guy with a beard and a tattoo of a fern riding his bicycle within a 2 mile radius will be all over you.. the air around me is saturated with sex pheromones... and all i want to do is sit and drink beer. one of my favorite things about portland is the ability to drink beer everywhere.. i'm at a coffee shop right now.. but i could be at the movie theater or library or local pentecostal church drinking beer and it would not be out of the norm.. it's 99 degrees outside and no one turns on the air conditioners.. i don't even know if my house is equipped with one, now that i think about it. but i like it... we're all equally hot and sweaty and lazy.. i love how primitive our bodies can be.. it makes me feel more real.. for lack of better words.
