I graduate this week. Thursday, to be exact. I'm accepted to ACAD, I have my dress et al, and my one class this term is going well. Somehow, though, I keep thinking up things to terrify me.

So, for the past two days, I've been massively busy with a fabulous little volunteering gig down at the local university. I can't possibly state enough how much fun I had.

( tl;dr: Otafest was a total and utter blast. )

So, I guess this relates to everyone else, too, but mostly the lovely folks at unter_allen . Figured I'd let y'all know that I'm not gonna be around this weekend - it's the weekend of our local con, where I'm volunteering.

Not like I'm gonna have any exciting photos, not like Ryoko or Meg.

Four rehearsals a week now, just because we're behind in choreography. It's their own damn fault, that's how I see it. If the cast just paid attention to LeAnne when she was trying to teach us things, instead of taking every pause in the music as their chance to babble incessantly to one another, we'd be more than just 1/4 done the show. Especially if they're about Tom Felton taking personality traits from Draco Malfoy, transferring to my school, then spending every waking hour chasing me.

It was good stuff, I must say.

I've been doing my best to lose an easy ten pounds before the fitting of my grad dress - it's this absolutely delightful pink princess gown, with a corset for a bodice and more beading than you can shake a fist at.

So far, I've lost three. Not too bad, I must say, considering I've only done 32 sit ups a day, in addition to a couple cups of green ( Read more... )

I figured it was high time I change my layout. Since I'm challenged at modifying them, I just picked a default that I liked. Back to my old icon, and onto a new mood theme.
