Beware the Long Night
I'm still at work. That in itself is not a big shocker. I am often here at 7:30. In fact, 7:30 is usually about when I go home. What is disturbing about tonight, however, is that I have four more boxes of documents to go through before I go home. I like my job, honestly, I do. I just don't like nights like this. I have a strange feeling its going to be about 2 a.m. before I get going home. I've changed into my work pajamas. Basically, they are the same as my home pajamas only a different color. I also have a pair of flip-flops to wear when I want to leave my office (no more business shoes for me tonight). You know its going to be a serious night for me when I change into my pjs. Ah well.
At least I have good music. A few of my colleagues are here as well. That helps make the time go, but it does distract me a bit. Its easier to get a lot done when no one is here! Go figure. Perhaps I should always have to work when no one is here. The AC has also gone off, so it'll be good to have people here to keep me awake!
WOOOHOOO. I have to go back to the documents. I'd bring them home, but last time I did that...they ended up all over the sidewalk in front of my house in the rain. I'm thinking the office is a better idea.
Is there a brakah for having to work too much? hee hee. I'm in such a giddy mood. Its weird.
