Atlas Should Shrug, Atlas Must Shrug, Atlas Will Shrug

We have had our defeat.

We ran the guy who thought the R next to his name would assure him votes from the right, he was wrong. The Republican party had one good candidate in the primaries, and his stance on the war, his failure to hold his tongue on the subject till he was in office, and a skewed preliminary system garnered him fifth place behind Giuliani. We face two to eight years of unbridled, unchecked, unchallenged democrat rule, The republicans had that from 2001 to 2006, and we saw the disastrous results of it, but then we were made aware of it, no such luck now.

To those on the other side, remember this, nothing lasts forever. You learned this lesson in 1994 after an attempt to ram Hillary-care and the Assault Weapon Ban of '94 down America's throat, and it cost you, now we are promised that and more with Obama. I hope that there are some on the other side of the aisle that understand that redistributing wealth, taking guns, and mandating volunteerism will do more harm than good to this nation. I hope it but I doubt it.

Americans as a people have their limits as to what they'll endure, one push too far and we'll quit you can provide the wealth you want to spread around on your own but if we stop, your task is multiplied several fold. There will be those who will continue to do so because their lives are soft and they wish to continue living it even under the heavy yolk of a government burden to them I can say nothing for they'll hide behind the color of responsibility to their family. Families lived in hard ship for centuries and with the determination to survive they will continue to do so, and thus delay the return to what this country is be. A republic where a man earns his keep and keeps his earning and is master of his own fate. But that will not happen so long as we delude ourselves with the notions of forced altruism, and duty to a nation that views us as nothing more than walking ATM machines
