Funny how I start going to bed before 2am and the SECOND NIGHT my dad asks me to set my alarm for 4:30 -5:00am to take my mom's friend to the airport. My mom's friend is still the crazy, goofball I remember her being from my childhood. Now I'm up putting epoxy on my models and playing WoW.
I had 3 days off this week! I got to go to the L.A. County Fair and see Credence Clearwater Revisited. Yes, I spelled that right. The drummer and bassist from C.C.R. reformed and took their show on the road. The music was AWESOME. The singer sounds almost like John Fohgerty. Although I hate the members of the band for what they did to John, I can't hate the music that was pouring out. Everyone sang, myself included with tears in my eyes, when "Have you ever seen the rain" started playing. It was almost as magical as when I saw Paul McCartney in concert at Staples Center.
Buying stuff: I broke down and bought Halo: Reach. $20.00 gift card from Best Buy plus $10.00 for being an R-zone member? Fucking YES, please. I already had a $15.00 off coupon for spending so much there so the decision was made for me. I now have my CPU, Motherboard, and RAM for my new computer. I just have to buy 2 harddrives and a video card and I'm set. Final Fantasy 14 is just a few days away but I'll probably wait a few days just so I don't deal with all the bugs and everyone downloading the patches all at once.
The Car:
So, the reason my radiator blew up is because the motor on my radiator fan just stopped working. My dad and I worked on it for only an hour or so. When putting the fan's housing back on, my dad wanted to raise the car. The jack he used possibly bent the frame inwards. We don't know if it did, but the car certainly didn't lift. He then brought out these hard-plastic, rail-lifts. the incline is so great and my car is so low, I have to get a little momentum up there. I went a little too far and my car fell off of them. The rails were now smashed under each door. We get them out and now the plastic on the doors lets out a giant pop as it grinds against each other, under pressure before releasing. FML.
