Thanks for sharing these icons, I really like especially the round ones, the form is really nice! =D The gif animated ones are nice too but I usually start to feel dizzy with them so I prsonally prefer icons without gifs haha. Nevertheless, they look pretty, I like the idea you used for no 1 - 5! ^^
So green is this year's color? Nice, I like green. ^^ The background (and of course the header too!) of your journal is really pretty! =D I like it!
A timetable is a good idea! XD I wanted to note all the important upcoming dates for 2015 in a new planner/schedule and I wanted to buy the official Totoro schedule for 2015 but I was unlucky and couldn't get it since it's already out of stock were I wanted to order it... Now I have to find something else because I definitely want something were I can write into with my hand and that is small that I can take with me every time. Some people suggested me to put my schedule into my cell phone or online... but I don't lik that XD haha
Wait, did I read Oktoberfest there? XD Are you planning to go there? A "so-called" Oktoberfest or the REAL one, I mean, the one in Munich?
I'm not a fan of how LJ only allows 14kb gifs upload, nonetheless, I'm kinda addicted to making gifs lately since I discovered how easy/hard they are to make. I understand how gifs can be dizzying, particularly on LJ. Do you know how many frames are allowed on LJ if you want a pretty large gif? 15 or less! Otherwise, like I did with the Nino gif, I have to make it black&white. 15 is not enough to convey the cuteness that's in those particular scenes.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked them. Yeah, I like the idea of round icons particularly as the round shape is pretty lucky this time of the year, apparently. But they're a lot harder to actually... populate with images. Challenging but fun to do.
Yes, green is this year's colour apparently. Green is one of my favourites too (purple and red the others). Thank you again for the compliment, I'm glad you think my LJ is really pretty, was kinda agonizing over it. I'm kinda obsess with anything revolving design, and though I'm not an expert, I dabble a little with HTML and CSS too, just so I can design. If I had all the time in the world, the other thing I would do nonstop is fiddle around with tools and create/design anything.
Have you got a corkboard in your house? You can also put motivational quotes, pictures and timetables/plan on it. Timetable is definitely a good idea, it shows how much time is needed to complete/do a task. When I wrote mines, I realized I should stop thinking to myself that I have nothing to do. Every task I wrote takes about 5 to 8 hours if not more.
I tried to do the phone thing but phones are too small... plus I'm not really a phone person. You can try smaller planners or small pretty notebooks. I used to keep one with me where I listed a lot of stuff. OR! I just had a brilliant idea, you could use dictaphones. I used to know someone who used them to help them revise, but they're good for recording anything. You could try that?
They ran out of Totoro! Lol! Cool~
Man... I really do write essays.. but yes, Oktoberfest the real one. One of my besties is German and she's been the one whose most keen about setting this reunion up. She's suggested Oktoberfest for ages, and really, I want to go this time for sure. So I'm working towards that^^
I'm going to purchase an Arashi poster and making personal fanarts of them to put on my wall and corkboard. Then I'm going to include some motivational quotes from them so I remember that for the past 15 years these guys have never stopped working hard. I think that's good motivation enough^^ Plus, I don't know how you did it but I got to get going with learning Japanese. I'd like to be more than just bilingual. Jealous of any multilingual people. And it's kinda getting to the point too that I don't want to rely on subs when I watch my Japanese fixes.
BTW: Gonna ask again, is it alright if I adopted the format of your list and posted my own version here? It seems like an inspiring list. I really want to do it^^
