This is what my week has been:
I NEED YOUR HELP. 8 - 10 cat are in need of face their deaths. What I need is either FOSTERS OR HOMES until October when shelters can take them. THEY WILL BE SPAYED, NEUTERED, VACCINATED, AND DEWORMED BEFORE BEING PLACED, all they would need from you is food, water, and shelter. All are 1 yr + PLEASE, if you have ANY room in your heart and house, save one of these cats!
Yea. :\ A friend of my mom's through work has a friend who died, and she had somewhere in the neighborhood of ten cats. She promised this woman that she would get them all into no kill shelters, and no I've been recruited in trying to find fosters and trapping them to get them to care. The lady though, is going to foot the bill.
The family of the woman who died wants to call animal control and have them all put down, since they are of the mind that the woman died because she spent to much time on the cats rather than on herself. She had a stroke, went into a coma, and died. The cats were left in the house about a week with no food or water. They are in desperate need, and I can't turn myself away from that. I just hope I can find more live traps and some extra crates to house them in if worst comes to worst. From what I understand they're handlable once caught, beyond that.. they're to frightened.
God I hope I get some replies back on facebook and through texts about these cats. They don't have much longer to be safe where they are.
