Acker 1.6

The end of the beginning, or the beginning of the end.

HALLO DEAR READERS! This update will be really short since it's just left over pics from 1.5.

Previously: Marta proved to be quite a handful and developed into a genius, Jaysi grew older, Malachai developed a hatred of the outdoors and we all got a glimpse into his relationship with buddy (his IF), the battle for the garden between the Ackers and the Zombies raged on.

Let's get to it.

We start once again with Yolanda acting very suspicious around the shower. Breaking stuff is her specialty and getting other people in trouble for it is her skill.

Jaysi: I'm starting to suspect there is something seriously wrong with Malachai. He's always talking to himself and starts yelling at the air.

Jaysi: Come to think of it I think Marta may be doing drugs. Or selling herself. She's not right either :s

Buddy: *sigh* Must be nice to eat real food *sadface*

Buddy: *sigh* Must be nice to go to prom *sadface*

Yolanda enjoys some time under the apple tree, splashing about in the sprinklers.

How beautiful and cute :)

Jaysi thought at work he was safe. He thought wrong. The various attempts on his life has made him somewhat of a recluse. Aside of the trips to collect seeds, he hardly leaves the house if he's not going to work.

Even later that evening death showed up and took this poor old dog from the lot. Being the sick sadistic IF that he is, Buddy decided that it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. Marta, having never known this dog was indifferent while Malachai was quite upset.

Between the people staking out his house, his wife trying to kill him, his one deliquent child and his crazy one, Jaysi finds time to escape life in his garden. Finally he hopes this fence will keep the zombies at bay.

Here is Marta entertaining one of her friends when suddenly...

YOLANDA DIES!!! Creaking bones and all old age has finally caught up with her, and Yolanda dies a peaceful death.

But... is that a knowing smile we see?

You were actually pretty cool even though you tried several times to kill my founder and aggravated him til no end. You made him happy. Good bye Yolanda.

Hopefully this doesn't scar Malachai for life and isn't the first step that causes him to become a psychopath or something.

Poor Jaysi. He really loved her and now he has to live the rest of his life with a broken heart.

We're not done yet. ANOTHER dog dies on my lot that night. That's when you begin to wonder, are they all really dying of old age or is there something to it?

Perhaps Malachai is starting to suspect it to...

To clear his mind Malachai heads to this night club, perhaps to score some pot or cocaine, or maybe ecstasy.

Even in death Yolanda enjoys a night time play in the sprinklers. It's still cute.

Our legacy garden is slowly growing.

I don't know who left the food there.... I'm choosing to believe it was a mistake by one of the children.... For now.

Having no one else around to blame, Jaysi points the finger at the only person standing there. Poor Marta.

I can honestly tell you that it was not Marta who left the pan there. Jaysi just has a bad habit of blaming whoever is nearby.

Not being able to stand a life without someone to share his feelings and blah blah blah, Jaysi meets Mimi. After a bit of romancing he finally pops the question.

Jaysi also dismisses the strange goings on in his house. The flicking lights, the hovering objects... Ghosts do not exist in his world.

Jaysi bought a cake, invited over guests to his house, made a wedding mix CD and.... no Mimi showed up. So he hatched a plan: he went over to his house, found her baby's daddy living there... Okay, that made things awkward. Yet he still wanted her, if only just because she stood him up so he was out to prove something. He invited her out to the beach club where he had a surprise wedding waiting to go.

No escaping this one. Mimi brought with her two kids, who he promptly sent back to their dad's house. No way was he going to raise someone else's kids. He was having a hard enough time raising his own.

A few weeks after the wedding Marta grows up. She has not quite outgrown the side of her that goes against the grain, and now she does it without a smile. This is one woman who does NOT just sit at home musing over her writings.

Eventually Malachai grows up too and having lived out the rest of his teens years without his mother, he decides he wants the perfect family of his own. That's sweet.

Thanks for reading Gen 1, my dear readers. Next time I will pick an heir. Will it be Marta who is rebellious enough without the rebellious trait. Or Malachai, who's death of his mother has left a whole in his life he wants to fill so desperately. Will the family be poor forever? Will Jaysi be content with Mimi? Will the war vs the zombies result in a win? So many questions. Stay tuned for the start of Gen 2!
