-What do you like about your friends/best friend? I love my friends because we're all in the marching band which makes us really close. My two closest friends, which are guys, are really honest and trustworthy people. Kevin is probably the most hilarious person I know, and we have so much in common. We'll sit online and talk for hours about things like phantom of the opera or nonsense like... if i was an animagus, which animal would i be? which is another thing i love about kevin; we can talk for hours online and never get bored of each other, and actually have real conversations. the thing my friends and i have in common the most is music, in some form or another, not just listening to it.
-Would you rather have one close friend for the rest of your life or a group of friends? i'd rather have one close friend for the rest of my life because i'm a really personal person. i probably shouldn't do this, but i tend to focus on one of my friends when we're in our group because i like to be closer to one person than all the others. it makes me feel like i'm making the atmosphere more enjoyable for that person. i hope i explained that so it made any sense.
-What awesome traits do you have that should get you accepted into the community? I have a lot of crazy traits. I'm definitely smarter than most kids my age, but i'm not stuck up. I'm like the lazy loser kid of the smart people. all the smart kids think i'm retarded, but i don't care because they're not my friends. call me a dork, but i'm in the marching band... and that's one thing i love more than anything in the world. seriously, people say our band is nazi like because it's militarily ran and we have leaders and everything, but it's what i love to do. it's my life, and i would never be complete without my alto sax. i enjoy making music so much, and it is such a great thing that my friends appreciate this talent too.
-What three communities are you most active in? i used to be super active in favorite_son where i was a mod for about a year. I had to resign to my modship do to the fact that marching band rules my life in the fall, but i'm still an active member there. I'm active at kurt_halsey and i love looking at icons and graphics from all the good harry potter communities [a dork, i know].
-If you could do anything to Flavor Flav, what would you do? Set him in the middle of the street because my incredibly racist country grandaddy would run over him.
-If you could have wild sex with any person in the world, who would it be and where? Oh my goodness, I would definitely have wild sex with Tre Cool [Frank Edwin Wright III] outside on the golfcourse at night while it's raining [warm rain, mind you].
-If you could have dinner with any person, dead or alive, who would it be and why? Roald Dahl because he wrote some pretty freakin' awesome books, and I think it would've been cool to know him.
-If you could kill one person, celebrity or non-celebrity who would it be? I'm definitely setting Jason Malone on fire. [someone who's supposed to be a well respected leader in our band, is the highest ranking person, and the most hypocritical bastard that you will ever meet in your entire life]. the plan is, i put him in a plexiglass box so i can watch him choke on his own nasty fumes.
-If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? I would absolutely love to go to ireland becase it is so amazingly gorgeous there. It helps very much that Irish accents are one of the biggest turn ons [my opinion, of course], and basically, i love irish people. [and ireland].
-Favorite childhood memory: When I was 5 it snowed about six inches outside of my house, so my sister and I [she was about 8 at the time] decided to make this huge tunnel in the snow, and we spent all day making it. Finally when it was finished, Jess was nice enough to let me go in first. When I went in the whole tunnel collapsed and she got really mad, which started a snowball fight. Afterwards, we went inside to eat vienna sausages and hot chocolate and watch Aladdin.
-What are your views on...[pick five]
Self-mutilation- I think that self mutitilation is a really insecure thing to do. My view on this is, if your life is so wrong, then how is harming yourself even more going to make things any better? A reason people do this is 'to show how strong they are' but i think this is an incredibly weak and disgusting thing to do to yourself. Lives could be so much better than this.
Gun Control-
Abortion: When I was in Williamsburg for the inaugural parade this abortion truck kept driving around with pictures and it was one of the most disgusting things i've ever seen in my life. this girl got really mad because she's pro abortion, but my friends and i don't like her, so we made her cry because of what they did to those babies.
Internet dating: Internet dating is a joke to me and something people do just because they are bored and have nothing better to do. If you actually know the person that you are talking to in real life, then this makes things way different, but on the whole I just don't understand this.

"One nation under god" in the pledge of allegiance I think it is completely up to the person who says the pledge of allegiance to decide what they want to say. I don't think people should make a huge crisis out of this, it's the way the pledge has been for years. I'm simply saying that, if you do not believe in god, then you have every single right not to say this, and no one can make you. No one should even make you say the pledge if you don't want to.

Legalization of Marijuana Personally, Marijuana does not effect me. I've had friends before who have smoked marijuana but they have never tried to force me to do it. It's nothing I want to do and if people want to smoke it, then I think it should be perfectly legal because that is what they are deciding to do with their life. Creating laws and putting restrictions on things like this doesn't stop it from happening. People are gonna smoke marijuana whether the law likes it or not. So why not make it legal?
-What do you want to be when you "grow up", or if you are already grown up, what did you want to be when you were younger?: I want to go to James Madison University and study to become a Band Director. I've wanted to do this ever since I took up playing the sax, and ever since I met Mr. Wilkes, my middle school band director. I love that man so much, and I would love to turn out a female version of him.
-What is one of your hobbies that you really love and why? You may have guessed, but I like Marching Band. This organization has given me everything that I've ever truly loved in life. I spend so many hours of my day putting up and moving trophies, playing music, singing, spinning flag, dancing, and just being absolutely crazy with the people that i love more than anyone in the world. I know these people well enough to be their sibling. I have a passion for music that is so incredibly hard to hide, and one day i wanna teach the world what i love to do so much.
-Name three of your interests: Marching Band [i think i've explain this one already], movies [good movies like phantom of the opera make me happy on the inside], and reading. I absolutely adore reading because it's like you're living someone else's life for once and walking in their shoes and reading can take you anyway you'd like to go.
-Something you know now, that in retrospect, you wish you'd known "then" i wish i'd known that ib classes and college courses were not as easy as everyone made them out to be.
-Inner most desires: i know this sounds really lame, but i desire a boyfriend so incredibly much. My family is anything but compassionate, and I've never felt like I've had real parents. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but things are really different here. I think all families are really unique in their own ways. It's just, all my life i've never really been able to hold anyone, or kiss anyone or touch anyone, and i'm so secretly, incredibly jealous of people like that. All those smart kids in all my classes that have really compassionate families and everything they could ever ask for. I'm not the richest kid, like them, and it just kills me that they're so incredibly conceeded. I don't want a boyfriend for show either, I want someone that I really care about. I also cannot wait until i can legally drive. As of now, i have my permit, but I live 30 minutes away from all of my friends and it is so hard to hang out with them because my parents don't pick me up and they take time out of their day to waste their gas and drive me home and i feel horrible about that.

Explanation: This book is about a girl who loves books... so incredibly much that one day she discovers she can read stuff out of the book just as her father can. I think it's a really neat story line, and I love books and I'd love to read myself into harry potter or something.
Book 2: Bridget Jones' Diary
Author: Helen Fielding
Explanation: Even though I'm fifteen, I often feel so many things that Bridget does. She's zonky and different and all she wants is a good man to settle down with so she won't be a spinster for the rest of her life and she bashes men while in the search. It's hilarious, and shazzer and bridget's convos remind me of my friend, natalie, and my convos.
Book 3: Stargirl
Author: Jerry Spinelli
Explanation: Simply because I admire Stargirl so much. She's an amazing human being, and not like anyone else at the boring old high school and I wouldn't care if anyone hated me, so long as I was happy.

Why: "if you feel discouraged that there's a lack of color here, please don't worry, lover, it's really bursting at the seams." I believe that line describes me so incredibly much [i've noticed how many times i use the word incredibly]. It's like, everyone looks at you and thinks that you're emotionless or sad but the only reason that is is because I wanna express that emotion, it's everywhere inside of me but it's not shining through.

Why: "I have to speculate that God himself did make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay" I think that describes the relationship between me and my closest guy friend. It's like we're so innocent and young, and i know we love each other but for some reason we don't date because we know we're going to the same college and gonna know each other the rest of our lives, and things shouldn't get messed up in our friendship now and... it's really complicated to explain, but this song makes me feel that.

Why: This song is how I feel every time one of my friends is taking me home after one of the best adventures of our life. After being so mellow and chill just sleeping in alex's basement and sneaking out onto the golf course, and finally it all has to end and the last part of that happiness comes from the passenger seat as they're driving me home.

Why: Well I'm one of the three daughters in my family, and my mom is the absolute saddest person I know and I wish that I could just make things better for her. This song reminds me of my family way too much. Specially since my dad had an affair at one point. She's dying of heartbreak and I think the woman in this song feels the same thing my mother does.

Why: "i find a fatal flaw in the logic of love and go out of my head... you love a sinking stone that will never elope, so get used to the lonesome girl" my closest guy friend was this guy who liked me and i didn't even know him. Then i got to know him and fell in love with him and he got dating scared because of his brother [who is another of my friends] and it's really complicated. Basically I was so obsessed with him and I just had to get used to the fact that he wasn't going to change if i kept acting that way.

Movie: Phantom of the Opera
Why: I am insanely in love with phantom in general. It's just so classic and amazing, and to live in an opera house would be a dream come true.

Why: for same reasons mentioned above about the book.

Why: because that's the kind of life every girl could ever dream of.
-Do you consider yourself unique? Why? I do consider myself unique because I'm not like most of the people in my grade. All of my friends are older than me and I feel more mature than people in my grade. I love a many number of different things. I'm sure a lot of people love some of the same things, but I love this certain mixture of things and I think that makes me unique. I think everyone's unique in their own way, some people just don't know how to show it.
-What are some characteristics you admire in yourself & why? I admire the fact that I can play my sax really well and that I'm a high ranking leader in my marching band because I take pride in the fact that I love that organization and everything it's about. I admire the fact that I will never drink vodka in my lifetime for reasons I shouldn't mention. I admire the fact that I'm not a snogging skanking snogmonkey like most of the people in my school and the fact that I've never had a boyfriend and don't really complain too much about it.
