The opening night party went off splendidly, and the next morning's Arts section was filled with rave reviews. Although, I do have to wonder...is it my talent or my fame that's getting me all of this? I'd prefer the former.
Genichirou, are you still mad over that painting I put in? Really, no one could tell it was you. Although...I'm worried. Those ( Read more... )

. . . I can't imagine Sanada to be too thrilled about the Arts section today.

...He's going to lose his job. Why the hell would someone want to hurt him like that? I'm trying to figure out how to clear it all up...

Where does Sanada work? If he loses his job he could surely successfully sue for gross misconduct. I can't say I recognize the reporter name, do you?

A discrimination lawsuit in Japan? Are you insane, Atobe? Hell, it's hard enough to get murders convicted here.

Besides, Genichirou works for Iida Corp. They're probably smart enough to make sure that the reason he's fired-if he's fired, mind you, is for "poor job performance" or some bullshit like that.

Yes, a discrimination lawsuit in Japan, where nine out of ten sexual harrassment cases are won by the simple fact that the courts believe we men are predispositioned toward being grabby and altogether unsavory. As such Japanese companies are predispositioned to demanding some forms of family acceptability but requiring, often above and beyond, a level of work that tears most away from families and promotes the workaholic country aesthetic - you know, I'm going to be quiet now, you are right, I must be insane to suggest it. He would never be successful.

Hn. Iida Corp. I did not know he worked there. They had better keep a closer eye on their employees lest they are poached. There will always be a career for Sanada at Atobecorp.

Yet...even if we brought it to court, and we were successful...there would be press, and we have children to think about. We can't just go off on our own crusades when our kids will suffer the consequences, and goddammit when did I become a parent?

...Do let him know that if that event occurs? He's a HR manager, if that helps.

Ah. Yes. I quite understand. Let me know before the seemingly inevitable dismissal, it would be better to have a career change before Sanada has such a blot on his records.

Parenthood suits you. I am rather taken aback.
