I've been on a roll today, work-wise! Finished the commissioned jewelry pieces, got great paint really cheaply at that store the hyper kid mentioned (and a lovely set of Copics, I've been doing a lot of just sketching lately). And I have my costume all ready for Atobe-san's party, got hired for a new shoot, and celebrated with pork buns from 7/11. ( Read more... ) -

Paintings on are the floor, and I have a few broken bottles of paint in my back office/studio. Kids are okay, just a little shaken up. Taking them home, anyway. Cat is okay. Can't get ahold of Genichirou, but he should be okay. I hate earthquakes.

Check your email, I just sent you Genichirou's CV. He's not getting fired from what I've heard, but his coworkers and his supervisors are making his life utter hell since it's out that he's gay. I know he won't send it to you and he says he's fine, but the only things right now that are making him happy are the girls.

The opening night party went off splendidly, and the next morning's Arts section was filled with rave reviews. Although, I do have to wonder...is it my talent or my fame that's getting me all of this? I'd prefer the former.

So I have a show opening this weekend at the Shinkawa Gallery. The opening night party is on Saturday, black tie. If you're interested in viewing, let me know so I can get you an invitation. Opening parties are so expensive these days, but guests of the artist get in free. But there's food, alcohol, and some incredible art, if I say so myself.

Who the fuck was making fun of my daughter's accent? Naoki came home yesterday completely devastated because apparently, some other little darlings decided to call Naoki's speech "funny."
She barely speaks as it is. Thank you -very- much for this bullshit.

Well, that sucked.
If Genichirou can't get Seika to sleep in her own bed, I am going to kill him. It's...more than irritating that he bends to her every whim.
