Today, I found out I was redundant. Or at least will be in April. Worse than that I found out via IM from Paul, who is just a volunteer and doesn't even work for the company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suddenly there were text messages and IM's flying. I needed confirmation - at the start, I though Paul was just winding me up. Unfortunately it was true. Everyone is in shock, complete and utter shock. Of course, we can relocate, but still....wow!
When my manager did ring, I was just in shock. I couldn't really talk. There is a meeting tomorrow for more info. I suppose only time will tell whats going to happen.
