Yes, I read Bridget Jones (v.good) at the airport and on the plane. My arrival in Wales was 1.5 hours later than scheduled and I was most annoyed. However, the trip to the airport was both uneventful and well timed. Sometimes I like being me. Bought Collette a lovely gold chain thing for going away (v.nice)
Plane was godawful on the way over, seats were tiny (to match the rest of the plane. There were no overhead lockers it was that small). Eventually got to Cardiff in aforementioned uncomfortable plane. It's not easy trying to balance a prepackaged cream tea on your knees at god only knows how many thousand feet because the the space between you and the food tray mean it will only come down to an angle of 60 degrees.
Got there, drank, smoked, ordered curry (we need more will-deliver curry houses over here!), watched Human Traffic on DVD plus Kylie live. Evening soured by reciept of bitchy e-mail from Tina in work when I checked. Wow....someone was in a bad mood! I'm not sure what was bugging her, whether it was dreaded time of month of what? Now not sure about going to Xmas Party as not many are going and if Tina is gonna be a bitch, well I don't want to be stuck in negative vibe city. We shall see how she reacts later.
Saturday: Went shopping!!! Wicked, bought DVD's (v.cheap) - including American History X which is excellent. Also bought Angie's Christmas pressie, bottles of alcohol etc. It was great catching up with Bill though, really was. Watched Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me and arsed around until god knows what hour.
Sunday: Came home. Boo. Plane better. Requested leg room seats on checkin, plus seats were wider on this model (thank god!). Got home by 5.10. Watched AHX before going to bed, was very impressed.
So, maybe cancelling Christmas party excursion, but still going to Collette's do no matter who is there. Angie says she might come too, so thats good.
Can't think more, though I know there is. Will drop the Bridget Jones-ism's next entry (v.irritating) and I'm irritated cos of Tina's bitch mail. Well all I can say it bring it on, if thats the way she wants to play it............
