I tend to like action vids, recruitment vids, character vids and the occasional shippy vid. I often adore vids to songs and/or genres I'm unfamiliar with and I'm VERY open to any style you're looking to vid. In case you're searching for ideas, I've talked a bit about the shows and movies I requested below, but if you already have a vid idea for any of these sources, please run wild with it!
Space: Above and Beyond
I have such a soft spot for this show, still. I liked the developing friendship between Shane Vansen/Cooper Hawkes, but would also welcome a team vid (the team dynamic really hit that "found-family" button for me), a vid focusing on the women, or any sort of character study.
Roar
I loved this show when it aired. I especially like Conor and Catlin (platonic or romantic) and also the teamy found-family feels with Conor, Tully, Catlin and Fergus.
Stargate (1994)
Stargate! Before the show this movie stole my heart. I loved everything on Abydos; Skaara, Sha'uri and Kasuf, Ra and his temple and Jaffa. I also liked how Daniel came into his own once at Abydos, and Kawalsky and the other military guys were like.... huh... ok.
Thelma & Louise
The ultimate ladies road trip. Such an iconic movie and I'd love something that focuses on how they overcome the violence in their lives. Alternatively, ignoring the problematic men and focusing on ladies having a good time would also be enjoyable. I know - complete opposite things there, but... *hands*
Postcards from the Edge
I'd love a vid focusing on the mother-daughter dynamic and the ways they support each other despite all the insanity going on in their lives.
