So it's been awhile eh?
I've decided to give up on men for awhile. I need a breather. I'm tired of either being let down, or when everyone meets my sister, going wow. She's beautiful. Thanks right?
She and I did make it up to NYC last weekend. We took an eventful 12 hour road trip in which we serenaded a diner full of people in Maryland and met an Elvis lady. Wow, I'd heard people like her existed, but didn't fully realize it until we met her. Amazing. We got to Jersey City, where we'd opted to stay and found our little hotel. After some mixed up directions and about 50 bazillion phone calls, met up with Wes in Greenwich Village. We met up with Anderson and his new g/f Stephanie at some little Italian Restaurant where we flirted merciliessly with our waiter. Wes, Mon and I then took to the streets to do a little shopping and to show Mon around the Village. We tried on sunglasses and watched the vendor pick his teeth. Which was gross and amusing. We heard stories about Marquis. Then we found Cousin Tim and went to see the guys perform. The first band we saw was Revelation Theory. I thought they were decent. Mon and I wanted to start a mosh pit, but no one seemed to keen on the idea. Then I ran into Heather. I'm not sure about the whole Heather bit. She's so fake towards me. She's said lots of bitchy things about me, but I was nice to her and we chatted for what seems like eons. Then the guys took the stage. Tim met a girl and had a decent evening. The songs from Pride were amazing live. I loved them. They changed Someone Save Us, which I was very happy about. It's acoustic now and gorgeous.
Then we saw the guys who told us to come downstairs for the afterparty. After a 3 am start, we were exhausted. We tried to beg out of the after party but were convinced otherwise. We stayed for like five minutes. Then we told everyone adios and left. Silly boys. Saturday was filled with shopping, meeting people, eating and fun.
Arrgh, 10pm comes a little too early tonight. I've got to run out. I'll finish this and other stories about hot musicians and flashing fun later.
