I got my hands on The Wilder Life which was a funny read, but more emotional than I expected. My early perception of the book was that this was a lighthearted journey through the books, and while I'm certainly fond of the series, McClure's attachment was considerable different. Physicists need to start studying the physical nature of books. Specifically, how they are able to compact themselves in small spaces, but when removed from said space, suddenly become much larger and will not compact again. I might end up bunking on the sofa or with Mom if I can't get them straightened out.

Trying to find the story I described the other day, I ran across a number of other children's books (technically aimed more towards girls) that looked interesting. I'm putting these title aside for a library trip during the dog days of summer.

Temperature finally cooperating and has dropped down to the 60s/50s. Sareliz teased me last night about my sensitivity to the cold. She went for a walk last night in Buffalo and was surprised that some of her neighbors had their fireplaces going.
