Despite the rather small size it does command attention.
For the last week or so I have rearranged furniture and attempted to pare down on clothes, jewelry, and the like. Again. I realize I do this about twice a year and so you would think I had a fairly minimalist lifestyle, but the problem is I keep bringing things in and then change my mind about them. I'm not sure if this means that no matter what I do or no matter how much consideration I put into an item, I will still end up regretting it OR if it means that I'm still doing it wrong. Probably just doing it wrong.
Still, progress was made. I emptied out a large plastic tote that had school memorabilia and other items and then filled it with most of my fiction. Everything in the tote I've read over and over again, so if I desperately want it I'll have to dig them out of the office. Hopefully my laziness will win out and I'll read one of the dozen books that I left in my room along with the non-fiction.
The cameras were among the items included in the tote. I found a place for the school certificates but have no idea what to do with the cameras. The oldest is from 2007. I did some research and they still might produce photographs, just significantly faded. I have a hazy memory of what is on one of the cameras. They've sat in that box for six years and I haven't missed them so I could technically throw them away. But then I feel guilty getting rid of a memory even when I don't know what that memory is.
