I shall be attempting something the same this weekend, but I've got years' worth of stuff to deal with. Every six months is very grown up!

There's a minimalist in me dying to get out.

The books are the difficult part. "I haven't read this in three years. Will I ever?" And then you just fill up the space with new books.

The hardest part was getting rid of most of my high school memorabilia. It was smooth sailing after that. I don't think I kept any of my college stuff. The good part of it all is all that storage space I gained. YES!

There's really nothing from college apart from books that I actually enjoyed or really challenged me. I need to pair down my shoes next. Mother will likely wince over what goes, but I'm not wearing them.

PS I miss it. Or at least I miss writing and it is a nice platform.
