1. What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment in life has been so far?
Graduating college with honors. I was the first in my family to do so, and this felt good. It felt even better because I was the daughter/kid with the lowest grades in high school, but college proved to be a much better time for me. I feel really good about it because my junior and senior year I was working, interning, editing a newsletter on campus, an officer in a club, and busy with other volunteer stuff as well. It felt really good when I walked across the stage and they said Cum Laude after they read my name, really knew I had accomplished something at that point and to this day it feels good!
2. What are the best and worst things about being a single cute redhead?
This is a tough one that I've been struggling/dealing with lately. I'd say the best part is being able to do things on my own time and being comfortable with myself. I like to travel last minute and I like to go places all over the world, so being single allows me to do so. Also, just enjoying time with friends and family whenever I want. Worst....not having someone to do the "relationship" type things with and always being asked, "Why are you single?" Also the constant reminder from some family members that I'm 25, unmarried, and childless.
3. You have overcome alot of adversity this past year. What has kept you motivated and why?
It has been a very rough rough year I must admit. Lost too many special people in my life...However, the special people that remain in my life keep me going. My sisters, nephew, grandparents, aunt and uncles, step-mom, and my mom all keep me wanting to live my life. They are my everything and I'd be absolutely lost without them. Not to mention, they need me as much as I need them, we all lean on each other right now. Also, a lot of my friends, including you that I cherish more than words can/could express. I enjoy spending time with all of you and would miss each and everyone of you if I wasn't motivated to keep going. Lastly, even though he's gone, my dad keeps me going. He wouldn't want me to just give up, that's NOT who he raised me or my sisters to be, so I keep going because it's what he would have wanted and I know that's what he would say to me if he had the chance.
4. If time and money were of no concern, where would you and I go together for a girl friend vacation?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm....we'd be on the next plane to Spain and Italy. Italy because I know you have always wanted to go and Spain because I want to go and BOTH look like amazing places!! We'd sip on some wine and look at yummy Spanish and Italian men while enjoying good food and lots of laughs and relaxation!! :)
5. What do you enjoy about woodworking and what is your next project going to be?
I enjoy the end product...and taking pride in something that I made!! I'm hoping to start the Oak bench that I want to get done. It's going to take some time, but I think it'd be the next best project to start and then I'd really like to make some sort of end table type thing for my pavilion at Pennsic and such :)
If anyone would like questions, please let me know :)
