Great Week
This has been a very positive week for me.
Some things to note:
1. Work is going really well, even though it's stressful. My boss and I make a great team and we seem to be getting more accomplished with less people, and that makes both of us happy. Everything is being finalized for the deal I got with Lamborghini to have a car on our show floor and to give a speech, and that has really gotten everyone happy. Our news release was picked up by Google News today and some other great sources, and I couldn't be happier. We've also exceeded our sponsorship goal for 2010 meeting, and that makes me smile as well!
2. My mortgage was officially approved today!!!!! I got the committment letter from PNC today and we are onto the next step, appraisal and title search. Set to close on January 25, 2010. I'm so excited and nervous, but mostly excited. Got a great rate on my homeowners insurance and the insurance agent even told me that the house is lovely and I got myself one heck of a deal for the area :)
3. I've learned that getting to know a new person is a lot of fun, and surprises from new people is even MORE fun!! Just a complete breath of fresh air and it's been lovely.
4. Going to be in Seattle during the Olympics during Vancouver, and excited to see how the city will look a bit different with the Olympics being a few hours away. Also excited for good coffee and those amaaazing Seattle Sea Salt caramels!
