Prompt/Request: Neal and Mozzie at play. Characters: Neal, Mozzie, Peter I would Like: Neal and Mozzie have a thing they have to do, I dont mind what, but Peter can't know! Even though he probably suspects they're up to something but can't figure out what. I want as much Neal and Mozzie banter and plotting as possible, Pinkie and the Brain go all out with Idly suspicious Peter lurking close by. I'd love for it to be illegal, but nothing Peter can stick at all. The more fun the better. Bonus points if June's involved. Bonus bonus for El! I Don't Want: It to be a surprise party for Peter or something like that, I dont want them to get caught. Peter might be Smart, but Neal's not stupid either. If Peter investigates them, I dont want him to figure out what they're doing. if he guesses, make it wrong! :D
...something fun, plz. May have been reading too many whump stories.
I would Like: A story dealing with the aftermath of an undercover operation gone wrong. The team was unable to hear Neal's safe word, they weren't able to arrive in time, another agent sent Neal in and it turned out to be a trap, things not going as planned - whatever the author wants so long as things don't end well. Hurt/comfort is love but the hurt aspect doesn't have to be major. Still, I would love at least some kind of physical and/or emotional consequences (Neal exhausted to the point of collapse, Neal's nerves so frazzled he can barely eat or sleep, etc).
I Don't Want: Neal's fault that the operation went south. Both the failed operation and aftermath to be light and easily dealt with, Neal getting over the consequences too quickly. Torture fic.
I meant for this one to be open for anyone to do what they wanted so long as it focused on the aftermath, but at the time I couldn't think of any examples beyond cases gone wrong. Really, it's all up to the author as to what goes wrong - whether it's a case or Neal taken hostage at a bank robbery - just as long as it deals with the aftermath.
It's okay, I totally understand. But I don't think I'm gonna write this again. Actually, I'm working on something for kanarek13 as we speak, and it might just be right up your alley. Hope I get to finish it soon-ish.
I would Like: Neal being "bullied" by a visiting agent (or, whomever). I'd like to see things escalating to the point where Peter really loses his temper in Neal's defense. Bonus if Neal has a previous injury, such as a broken arm, and the visiting agent takes advantage of it (i.e. "accidentally" bumping into Neal and jarring the injury), and/or the other agent is physically imposing and uses that to his advantage. Would prefer subtly slimy rather than over-the-top nasty!OC - I'm picturing a dynamic where it actually at first looks like the guy's words/attitudes aren't really over the line, but just something Peter might shrug off initially as something Neal can deal with

There area lot of unspoken rules when working on a team - unspoken because they don't need to be said, because they're obvious. For example - rule 1: always listen to Agent Burke. A no brainer. You always listen to your boss. You don't get fired when you listen to your boss. In the case of Peter Burke, you also listen because he knows more than you, and to listen is to learn a lot

I was pondering the possibility of doing something sci-fi... But I was wondering exactly what you meant by "twenty minutes into the future." Are you looking for time travel, or more of a simple "what if" futuristic scenario? I've got a thing for cyberpunk/urban decay style stuff, but I wasn't sure if that was what you were looking for here. ^^
Prompt: Neal has more than one protector Characters: Neal and the FBI I would like: The old "Peter is away and someone mistreats Neal"-scenario, but this time around, the white collar unit closes its rangs around Neal, perhaps making the bullying agent the life veeeeeery difficult. Don't want: whiny!Neal, over the top violence

*happy sigh* I do love me some hand-wavy technology, and after a brainstorm session with imbecamiel I'm dying to try some ideas out.
