Yesterday, I had my meeting with Jim, my youth minister. It was good for me, I'm trying to give josh more space, even though I haven't really talked to him. I also found out more about Josh's parents side of the story, and I think an apology to them is in order. I think they know somethings that we both wish they didn't know.
So, after my meeting with Jim, I went to the Lewis Creek in battleground with my friend Katie, her sisters, Marcus and Chris Hoiland, all of them from my church. I had a lot of fun, except for the part where we decided to go farther down the creek. In order to do that you have to wade through the water. That wouldn't have been a problem if I had decent shoes, but all I had were really thin flip flops. They kept coming off, and the rocks still hurt, and they were covered in algae, so I fell a lot. So, we finally get to the end, And everybody wants to float down the rest of the creek except me and chris. I thought it was too dangerous. I was right. Chris and I walked and beat them there by like 15 minutes. And something happened with some people there, and Marcus got punched right above the eye. Which is not good, because his brain is sensitive from a car accident thing. And I guess everybody almost drowned, and have this huge lumps all over them. The most I got was some itchiness on my feet from plants on the walk.
Anyways, we all survived, and went back to Jims house to play croquet. That sounds lame though, right? But it was actually pretty fun. I'm about as good at croquet as I thought I would be, which isn't good. But at least I beat chris. Then we all went out to see the new Adam Sandler movie, The Longest Yard or something. And it was really good. It had a lot of comedy in it, but it could be serious too.
