It was my own personal protest, and I still follow it today.
I boycotted everything Tommy Hilfiger. I was never really impressed with the designer to begin with, but when I had heard that he had said that if he had know so many "blacks" would wear his clothes, he wouldn't have released them. That turned me off in a major way. Of course, I was in the 9th grade (i think) when I heard this, I've actually never really researched it to see if it was true. But I stood by the principle of the thing. I don't freakin' care if it's the hottest dress in town, if the designer is a bigot and small-minded, i won't wear it.
