I went outside this morning to shovel the big pile of snow left in front in the street in front of the driveway completely ignored by the multiple snow plows last night. I was already sore as heck and the thought of moving a snow pile taller than me didn't make me fee better. I worked on it for about 30 minutes, alternating between that and where my car was parked on the street so I would be able to get in and out again, when alas a snow plow came my way. He came and went. He backed up, put his blade down, nd knocked that wicked pile of snow flat to the ground. He gave me the "okay" sign and turned back onto the main road. He did it again on the other street for someone else who was shoveling. It pays to be working your ass of in front of a snow plow. He had to have saved me hours...and muscles.
My mom and I ventured out. We needed to go to King Soopers and figured we'd go to blockbuster too. I decided I'd play it safe and take the enterence right off of the street so all I had to do was make a right. I was about to turn when I realized that I'd only make it if I was a high cented vehicle. I decided I'd go through another neighborhood to get there, but the enterence was hardly plowed. I then decided that I'd go into the next neighborhood, but there was already a small car stuck. We ended up going to the blockbuster on wadsworth. We went to my apartment so I could pick up the things I forgot and I was disapointed to find out that there was only one strip plowed in the parking lot. You could tell that half of the parking lot wasn't being used during the blizzard (it's never used anyway) and they didn't even plow that. At least the streets around the complex weren't as bad as I expected them to be. The only thing is, are they going to get better or worse as the snow melts?
