Bout Time For That Real Life Update

Because there really is more to my life than Lost.

I promise you, there is.

Work: has actually been pretty good. I've gotten over the whole, "forced to work with my old kid for another year" thing. And my new main kid, is well, I'm getting used to him. What sucks, is that Lil's class was moved to another school. However, it's only going to be for this school year. At least, that's what they're saying now.

What doesn't suck, is that because of my seconadary kid's schedule, I get to go with him to Scott's art class, which is fun and amusing. Fun, because Scott is really awesome at adapting his art projects for kids with special needs, without any hassle. It's amusing, because he is the token male staff member, and under the age of thirty, AND all the younger female tutors in this particular class flirt with him SHAMELESSLY. Seriously, none of them know the word subtle, apparently. And he's too polite about it, at least to their faces.

Shows: Two weekends ago, Bonnie, Jen , and I went to The BCEFA Flea Market, where we got a decent amount of cool show stuff. I was however, seriously not happy that The Wedding Singer didn't have a table. But whatever. After the flea market, Bonnie and I saw Avenue Q, which was all kinds of awesome. A great show!

Fun Vanity Stuff: I talked my parents, or rather my father, into buying me a new cell phone. Actually, he didn't mind too much, because it had a massive rebate, and I told him it could be considered my Hanukkah present. It's a cute little Nokia, that has a camera, speakerphone and takes video. Plus, the sound quality is WAY better than my old one. I'm actually not too sure how useful the video is, but whatever. New phone! The only thing that wasn't so cool, was that because I went from a Samsung to a Nokia, my ringtones and wallpapers weren't transferrable. So I've had to buy them again. But I'm being way more selective this time.

Life in General: For a while, I was feeling kind of blah. I'm not completely sure why. It's not completely gone, but I'm working on it. I've been pushing myself to check out avenues for going back to school. I'm about 99.2% sure I want to go for something in Special Education.

Looking ahead: The long awaited Columbus Day Movie and Won Ton Soup Extravaganza! Wooo!

broadway, work fun
