A Much Needed Break From the Snarkfest '06 Invading My Braiiiiiiiin

aka, Christian Troy and Sawyer are ruining my life and eating all my steak! God!

Well, I don't actually eat steak, so they can have it.

All right, so SOMEONE demanded a weekend update. Here it be.

Friday: Marie came up. She had a hankering for Won-Ton soup, so we headed to Asia Garden. It turns out, they were closed for "improvements". I won't use Marie's exact words at finding out they were closed, because I am too much of a Lady to use such language, but suffice it to say, she was less than pleased.

So instead we had dinner at Pasta Garden, which was good as always.

We decided to see a movie after and the only one that was mildly interesting, was Pirates of the Carribean 2, which was way better than the first one. And the piece of wood that upstaged Orli, WOW!!!!!!

After seeing it though, we realized 2 things. One, we were NOT EVER going to see a movie that frickin' long again and two, if we were to ever see a movie that long again, it had better have a REAL ending and not make us wait until the 3rd one comes out to find out what happens.

But it was a fun evening all the same. And next time, there WILL be Won Ton soup!

Saturday: Madham called me a little before 11 am. She was watching Matt & James for the weekend. They and one of Matt's friends were going to the Betlehem Fair and she wanted to see if I wanted to come with. I said yes, and grabbed my stuff for her & the Lost season 2 dvd and headed that-a-way.

The Bethlehem Fair, was well, predictable. The best part of the day though, in my opinion, happened when we got back to Warren. Moosa and I settled in to watch the first chunck of Lost eps and Matt walks in and says he had never seen it, but had wanted too. So he joined us and we TOTALLY converted him, with just the first 5 eps. He, being a young man of great taste, loves Hurley & Sawyer.

Sunday: Pretty much did nada, except sleep in & run a few errands. Bonnie had a craft show,so I made a few bucks which is sweet! We went out to dinner. I did warn her beforehand that Asia Garden was closed, which, got the same reaction as Marie's. Instead, we had dinner at The Hearth, where I, as usual, was the youngest person there.

So that be all. Today at work, was good. My main little boy was out sick. His mother is a rarity, she actually keeps her kid home when he's sick. What a novel idea! So I was able to make a little more headway on my paper work & getting his stuff in order.

And now, well, I think I'm going to take a break from the story for a bit. Seriously, those two men, while it's hawt and seemed like a good idea at the time, they can be just a tad bit difficult. Shocker, I know.
