the internets are back!!!

i ended up just calling the Make It Work guys in the little red mini-coopers, and after a good hour, the internets are back, and should not be confused anymore about the fact that we own them here.

thanks for all the comments though, to you who did. [yup, we did plug everything out and in again and it didn't work; nope, we don't have windows vista yet and are hoping not to until we absolutely have to]

so i'm back in the loop of the world. huzzah.
