What did you do in 2015 that you'd never done before? Went to an academic conference (two, in fact).
Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Last year I resolved to write and publish something in an academic journal. I did write and submit to Technoculture: An Online Journal of Technology in Society, but I have no idea when they plan to publish.
My resolution for 2016 is to buy, and use, a museum membership.
Did anyone close to you give birth? No.
Did anyone close to you die? No, thankfully.
What places did you visit? Montego Bay, Jamaica; Boston, MA; and Riviera Maya, Mexico.
What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015? More money.
What date from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory? August 24th - My first official day as faculty at Wilbur Wright College!
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Getting hired full-time and then being promoted to program chair.
What was your biggest failure? To keep my weight down.
Did you suffer illness or injury? No, although I did get two new teeth, and I had a fibrous papule removed from my nose.
What was the best thing you bought? My Amazon Kindle Fire
Whose behavior merited celebration? My husband's, because he took the plunge and enrolled in school!
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? The same two family members who always get me down.
Where did most of your money go? Rent and travel.

What was your favorite film this year? Hard to say because 2015 was an amazing year for movies! I'd probably have to say "The Martian," though.
What did you do on your birthday? Worked, then went to Lou Malnati's with my husband, my brother, and my brother's girl.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2015? Thrift shop chic!
