I drank waaaaay too much coffee and I have the jittery insane feeling of too much caffeine. I don't drink coffee that often, which is likely why this is happening. I definitely skipped school today. I woke up with the intention of going, but it just didn't happen. I told myself that I would dedicate alot of time today on piano stuff. I have not practiced all week, and I need to! The Chopin song I am working on is coming along pretty well but I am just starting to learn Georgia on My Mind and I am transposing it so it's like double work when I read the music! I could just rewrite it, but I'm not up for that. Anyway I am hoping to be able to play and sing it by my recital in June. I guess it's kind of silly that I still get all excited about the recitals but it's alot of fun, it's not some lame shit like you imagine a piano recital to be. My teacher lives in southern Maryland on the water, and it's a really cool setting. Plus everyone plays other instruments and then jams out at the end on a jazz piece! It's very cool. And it's a chance to show off what you have been working on and see what others have been doing, it's like a final for piano! Anyway, I look forward to it and it keeps me motivated. The hardest time for me to practice is when I am first learning a song and am still not very good at it. I hope that phase passes soon. I should just go do that now and stop putting it off, seeing as how I don't have to write any thing else about Stalin this week. I have been taking this Russian History class and had a 10 page paper about him to do last week. It's always a good feeling when stuff like that is done!! Anyway I better go practice or maybe I will go to the gym and burn up some of this energy!! I need to get started preparing my garden but it's so fucking cold, where is this coming from? I thought we were past this. I hate to go on about the weather, but this shit is so uncalled for!!! I hope it warms up soon. I haven't even started any seeds yet though but I'm hoping to at least get started this weekend!
