Car payments change things.

This is the first time I have had a sudden increase in cash required of me like this. Yes, I have credit cards I pay, but I suddenly have $180 more a month that I have to take care of.

So one thing I am going to cut in the next year or two is the conventions I go to. I still have Naka -since I'm partly running it, you know- and I will try to attend ConQuest this year. ConQuest is always the same weekend as Anime North, so I'm planning FanExpo instead. That will be my 1 big away convention. Not 2 like this year. I did enjoy Connecticon, though.
I will save up as best I can to go to Canada. I'd miss my friends in the North, otherwise. I went to Toronto early last year for AN and hung around some with Patrick, Alvaro, and Mike; if I can do that again this August, I would be very happy.
I should **crosses fingers** be done with school then and maybe have a better paying job.

The good news is that the payments don't start until January 5th. Enough time to pay off the registration and taxes on it to the state. Also, my insurance company said they also do auto loans and may be able to refinance it down a bit. That would be just swell.

If I can go with Naka-kon folks to cons again next year, I'd love to do that. I enjoy traveling around the area and telling people our wonderful convention in places like Tulsa and Omaha.
