Antici-----pation
Well, the convention is tomorrow. I have the one costume I plan to wear very nearly done. Just small wig maintenance and some painting to do today. I have my staff hours sorted out and my hotel room covered. My paycheck should cover all of the expenses I'm going to have. That is, unless I get caught up in the Artist Alley.
I've made plans to attend two more conventions. I've already told you, gentle readers, that I will be going to Anime North to visit all of my Canadian friends. Now I have also committed myself to attend Project A-kon in Dallas again this year. I really enjoyed myself last time and the fact that the director of Nerima Daikon Brothers is going is a huge incentive. My costume is of the main character Hideki. Total Nerdgasm on my part.
But it doesn't come without issues.
The problem is this. ANorth and A-kon are one week apart. I will definitely take the week off in between them from work. I don't think going into UPS will be helpful at all. I was planning on taking the week previous to AN off, but I think I'll only take two personal days for the trip up. That should maximize my cash for the conventions, I hope.
Now to head off to class. I need to remember my homework when I pack. I'll be spending a lot of my time stuck at the desk working on my accounting packet.
Aside: I should do a rotation of my icons soon. I'm getting tired of the same six.
