Bah
I can't really say that things are going any better than they were, but things keep going, so I'm counting that as progress (toward what I can't tell you at the moment, but it's progress at any rate). I've completely recovered from mono and now I think that I'm coming down with a cold. I still don't have a job, but I only started looking Monday. On the bright side, after driving the wrong way down the streets of Louisville, the 16th largest city in country, for the last three years Evansville geography is relatively simple to navigate. I went to the mall and virtually every store is hiring for seasonal help, so a part-time job should not be far off in the future, as I figure that most stores will want personnel hired and trained before Black Friday.
I'm also going to be pretty spoiled for the next few days; tomorrow is my birthday, Saturday my sister is taking me to lunch, and Sunday my mother is doing our family's Thanksgiving dinner since not everyone will be available to come over on Thanksgiving day. The silver lining to getting mono was that I lost 15 pounds in about ten days-if I'm lucky, I won't gain it all back this weekend.
