I got to see my sister for the second time since she got married in December when I went to visit my parents for Easter. :)
I finally got my taxes filed. After paying nearly half the amount I'm getting back, I have resolved to learn to do do it myself next year.
I pre-registered for Babalon Rising in June. :D
I moved into a supercheap sleeper room and finally found a second job that actually pays the bills (supplementing my bar job, which pays little & seems worth less than the gas money most days).
Thanks to job #2, I was able to give my parents the security deposit from the apartment I moved out of when my lease ended & I will soon likely be able to start paying them back for the money they gave me for bartending school (not to mention the bills they paid while I was job hunting).
Due to Derby, I may be in a position to find a considerably better bartending job somewhere where more than two of the customers tip me instead of wasting their money on the crappiest music our jukebox has to offer.
I hope everyone's doing well. I miss people. :P
