Hello! =) A general question for those of you who applied and got accepted to the University of Glasgow-how did you find out you were accepted? I’m applying for the MLitt in History and happen to check the online status of my application (which I’ve done just about everyday since they acknowledged receipt of my materials) and I noticed I got an ( Read more... )

Thank you! I can wait for the offer packet, but I was just trying to come up with a time table for my parents sake rather than my own.

i got my offer 4 weeks after they had recieved all of my information. they say it takes up to 4-6 weeks so i guess expect that time limit. even though i heard back from university of edinburgh about two or so months after i had applied...so it could take awhile.

Thank you for the information. I was thinking along those lines and was trying to come up with an answer to the questions everyone has been asking since they found out. I appreciate it! =)

I got an e-mail saying I'd been accepted and it took FOREVER for me to get my application packet, I'd say definitely more than a month after I'd gotten the e-mail. But they said they didn't send all their "sooper-important stuff" until August cause school starts to late (late Sept/early Oct). But I remember getting it really late, my parents even joked with me that maybe they made a mistake and sent the e-mail to the wrong person, lol.

Oops, I don't mean "application packet" but the packet where they send the info on tuition fees, what the place is like, etc. And don't expect to get your res. hall app. until like July.

Thanks for information (sorry it took so long to reply-things have been rather hectic). I received an email the 27th of February with the offer and so I’m still playing the waiting game for the offer packet.

How do you like the University? How are the residence halls? I’m still debating between Glasgow and King’s College in London. Tough decision to make!
