Sydney was ok. Pallative care is not a happy subject, but everyone's handling it ok. There's a lot of people around my grandmother to help her. We just feel kinda helpless living in Canberra. We're anticipating a few more trips up in the next few months.
Less than three hours till the start of Wimbledon. My favourite two weeks of the year. Hopefully I'll actually be there next year. But this year I'll have to be content with the free to air coverage. My grandmother has foxtel and I contemplated moving in with her for two weeks, but she's dealing with too much crap to have to put up with me living on her couch. Ancic has withdrawn cause he's still sick. Utterly tragic. Wimbledon's his best shot at making the final of a grand slam cause he's a great grass player, but he's been ill all year. I'm hoping he makes as comeback next year and I can go watch him play. Really, I don't see anyone even remotely shaking Federer.
My holidays are going way too fast and I know that second semester is going to be a bitch. But semester one went well, and I think I can handle it. I'm even excited about my second prac. I feel like actually teaching classes teaches me more about teaching than any of the tutes and lectures i've attended this year. What is scaring me is that I've had a very detailed plan for the past few years, education and work wise. And I'm less than 6 months away from a major change and I don't have a concrete plan. That's weird for me.
