the dear hunter - the meaning of and all things regarding ms. leading
i think if you give it a fair shot itll grow on you.

i couldnt stand it at first but now i cant give it up. its got the pop sensibility i know you crave but its not as prominent as it could be. the musicianship is stellar though. parts of it remind me of production stuff here and there.

They aren't exactly new but Wilco has really grown on me. (I realize we actually saw them together with The Get Up Kids and they were boring)

Another older band I just revisited is Blur. There are some cool songs beyond their hit "Song 2".

I don't really listen to new music. If I did, it would be something you or Andy told me about.

And I could probably cook up a song or two I've been meaning to play for you. When we both have the time.

I recommend Land of Talk. They're a band out of Montreal. Check out the album "Applause, Cheer, Boo, Hiss"

You can also check out Man Man, and Menomena; two fun bands I feel don't get enough attention.

Les Savy Fav is supposed to be the next up-and-coming band from Brooklyn. I'm not a big fan, but they're good for a listen.
