anybody got any good music recommendations? for real.
anyone know some good shit for me to listen to. this year had so so many releases and i dont know if any of them really lit me up. this year i was pretty let down with a lot of albums. a lot.
the last album i really really got into that like.. took over my life was kevin devines put your ghost to rest, which has been out for a while. if youve got something you think that will impress me, preferably a new band/artist, thatd be sweet. i think im pretty spent and disappointed with a lot of the recent releases because its like the 2nd or 3rd or 4th album from these bands and i pretty much get it by this point with them, so nothing theyre doing is really knocking me on my ass, and as a result ive just been going back to good old albums i trust (third eye blind, the wallflowers, brand new, the get up kids), stuff ive listened to pretty solid since i heard it. but i definitely would like to hear something new.
i did find this one song by jaymay that i thought was pretty fuckin good. i posted a video of her playing it already. that song was pretty sweet. but yeah.. if anyone has anything good, preferably a debut.. thatd be swell
