its august already?!
Well, its August! Time is going by wayyy too fast. In one sense I don't want my summer to end, obviously. School this year is going to be rough and terrible, and I can't even do anything to help myself. I have been told two different scenarios so far: One, I will be teaching in 3 primary schools but probably have a shared room in each. The other, I will be spending mornings in two different primary schools, but afternoons at the intermediate school, i think doing only 5th grade? I have no clue what the real end result will be as things are changing all the time. There is no point in planning, or packing, or anything, so it is all sort of an unresolved standstill. I really hope I find a better job next year!
On the other hand, I definitely can't wait for it to be November and for Kate to be in my arms! I really do love being pregnant, but I have to say, all this free time now is making me an anxious mama. If she is not as feisty with her kicks one day I totally freak and think something is wrong. But really, the past week I've mainly laid around and read books and watched tv and occasionally tidied the house and thats it, so how much time can a baby spend kicking you anyways?
I keep trying to go to the beach, but then its cloudy and rainy when i get there. Today i wanted to go and the clouds came out as soon as i was ready to go! So i gave up and read outside for awhile in the clouds, and when i went in, the friggin sun came out! Seriously! I have pasty pale legs, and this weather is not helping things!
We've been working on fixing up the baby's room and our office room, but for now that is sort of at a standstill too. We have to finish trim in the office room, and tonight we are going to go to Ikea and see about finding some smaller bookcases and a closet organizer for my clothes. We used to have a dresser in the room, but it broke, and really the room seems so much bigger without it, we are thinking of getting closet drawers for my stuff instead. I hope I can find some good stuff, then I can spend tomorrow sorting and organizing and putting things away!
also, my spacebar is stuck. It has taken me twice as long to type this as i have to keep going back and re-spacing things! annoying!!
