i'm yours for the taking...
hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was pretty good...
friday night becca, jojo, and i went to a hole-in-the-wall bar and had a drink. right after we ordered drinks caresse called and told us she was on her way. so we downed our drinks in like, 5 minutes. i had a long island ice tea, and lemme tell you that is enough alcohol go get you started.
we met caresse outside the bar and then called up one of our classmates, nikki. we all met the the pool hall in soho. hilarity ensues as i try to play pool. i'm not very good at playing pool when i am of sound mind, so it was especially silly since i was slightly buzzed. but, i did make a behind-the-back shot which i was very proud of.
saturday i did a bunch of nothing. and i enjoyed that thoroughly.
sunday i went to kmart and spent $70 on christmas decorations and such. it was 30% off and i was feeling festive.
but, along with the festivity came sadness. thinking about christmas time made me think about vacaville... and how i have been there for ever christmas season in my life until now. i really miss my family. and pets. and friends. and car. and home. i was sooooo homesick on sunday night it wasn't even funny. i ate about a 1/3 of a bag of hershey's kisses and was seriously trying to find plane tickets for under $200 to come home this week. but, alas it was not meant to be.
i'm feeling less homesick now, luckily. it would have been a bad week for me to miss school. but i still miss you guys.
