we had a screening for class today, and i have to tell you about it, even though most of you probably haven't even seen the film. it was lover come back, a 1961 comedy featuring rock hudson and doris day. omg, i haven't laughed that hard at a film in a long, long time. i love the comedies they did together anyway, but this one was exceptional. i

aw, i love the icon of claire and her baby, too. i just don't talk about lost all that often.

oh, that icon i have for two reasons: one, because it's from contact, a film i like a lot, and two, because it's useful for commenting on all kinds of computer or online related things, like when someone has posted something really great..i guess the keyword could also be, "yay internet! yay fandom!".

that is a cheerful icon, but i don't know who that is...

see, i actually use that icon in comments a lot, just not on my posts.

ah yes. that's based on a screencap from a smallville episode, in which there's some bad, incestuous touching going on ;). but i think i now use the icon more to comment on things that i find truly evil or despicable. touch of evil is also the name of a movie from the 1960s that i strongly dislike :).

the distress one is one of my favorites, too. the colors and lighting came out excellent.

aww!! i love buffy. too bad i'm such a purist that i have a hard time using icons from specific shows when i'm not talking about them, and i don't talk about buffy a lot these days...

yeah, starbuck is a character in battlestar galactica. my favorite, actually.

did you ever watch the show angel [the buffy spin-off?]. this icon is from the episode "smile time" in which angel is turned into a puppet. one of the most genius episodes in all of tv.
