What the hell, I'm doing a 5K for charity.

The Hot Chocolate Run in Northampton on December 2nd benefits Safe Passage, who provides comprehensive services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence. Safe Passage’s services include an emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, support groups, advocacy and legal services. In other words, they rock. Domestic violence doesn't just go away after the perpetrator gets tried and convicted (if indeed that even happens). I know people who have personally benefited from these services.

Here's my donation page:

My goal is to raise $200 by November 1st, though donations will still be accepted until December 30th.

Thanks, folks.
