It's All Coming Back To Me Now

So I watched the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows sneak peek this morning and got mildy excited. Then I clicked on this vid:

Harry Potter was one of my first real fandoms! (I read fic and stuff for LoTR and The Fast and The Furious (lol don't judge) before HP but it was more casual while HP was very fannish)

LOL when Deathly Hallows came out I was visiting my sister in the UK and there was a flood, large parts of her town was under water BUT DID THAT STOP ME FROM WADING THROUGH TO GET TO THE BOOKSTORE AT 8AM? NO. :3

The Fast and the Furious?! Wow, I didn't even know there was a Fast and Furious fandom, lol. HP is such a quintessential fandom - it's got so much of both the good sides and the bad side to fan communities.

OMG YOU WERE WADING THROUGH THE FLOOD WATERS!! THAT IS TRUE DEDICATION BB!!

There is! mostly Brian/Dom fic. but when I was into it I was reading Dom/Letty het on message boards hahaha (and now I'm not sure if I was into it because I wanted to bone both Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.)

*fist of determination* THEY THOUGHT ME CRAZY BUT IT WAS OUT OF LOVE FOR THE SERIES. and then I read it in 2 days sitting at my big sis's kitchen table with my younger bro and sis playing card games and asking for updates every ten minutes.

I like your dark mark bb! Although part of me also find it slightly disturbing that you wore the mark of the Death Eaters: They still scare the living daylights out of me!

I have been thinking about rereading HP this summer as well. I was a little bit disappointed by book 7, so I only read it once, but I'm thinking that it's time I give it another chance...

Harry Potter was/is/and always will be a huge part of my life! I adored the whole world and everytime I see one of the movies on the TV I watch it again! I want to see the final movies now!!!!!!

And yes, I can relate with you on the midnight thing! I did it too.. under the rain! XD but it was worth it!

My love for HP cooled off somewhat after the release of the final book which disappointed me a bit. And I didn't actually like the sixth movie much. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the series a whole, so I'm thinking I might learn to love book 7 and the 6th movie now that my expectations are lower.

IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I AM SOOOOO SENTIMENTAL TOO, BB! We will see the final movies and cry and tell each other about it, kay~? xD

I was never involved in Harry Potter Fandom, but I was like doing everything fandom-y without anyone to do it with (besides my sister xD). I was writing slash fic, and everything! xD

I've been a huge fan of HP since I was 12, but I've never been into the fandom, which is a shame:/ But I can SOOOO relate to everything you say, bb! I remember being on vacation with my parents the day Deathly Hallows was released in swedish bookstores, and I convinced them to drive me to the closest store, and guess if I was lucky? I was the first person getting a copy from that store since it was 10 AM and they had just opened :D It took me just three days to read it, btw :D

OMG I'M SO EXCITED BECAUSE OF THE MOVIE!! *jumps around*

YOU GOT THE FIRST COPY FROM THE STORE??? OMG THAT IS SOOO COOL!!!
I spent at least a couple of days reading Deathly Hallows as well, even though I was reading pretty much non stop during that time. Actually I was a little disappointed by the book - I thought it dragged in parts and could have benefited from some additional editing, but by the time I reached the final chapters I was a sobbing wreck anyway.

I AM STARTING TO GET REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE MOVIE AS WELL!!!
